All banyans grow from roots. The same is true with Kendriya Vidyalaya, Srikakulam as a constituent of Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangatan an autonomous body under The Ministry of Human Resource Development (Education) Govt. of India.

The school was established in June 1994 with two staff members and 160 students. Sri Mallayya was the principal then. At present, the bud blossomed into a flower with sanctioned staff and students.

Smt. K. Jayalakshmi Raju, joined this Vidyalaya as Principal on 21/06/2010 on Appointment from Kendriya Vidyalaya No.-1 AFA Dindigul .

Smt. K. Jayalakshmi Raju, joined KVS as PGT (Chemistry) on 27th March 1997 at KV Sarani Bhopal Region. she was transferred from KV Sarani, Bhopal Region to KV No.1 AFA Dindigul, Hyderbad Region.

In the year 2010, she got selected as Principal and posted to KV Srikakulam after a successful stint of 13 years service as PGT Chemistry.
